ACCREDITATION

IFTL is ISO 17025:2017 Certified. As an accredited laboratory, IFTL assures Credibility, Accuracy and Reliability of test reports.

In addition, IFTL assures Impartiality and Confidentiality on all information obtained.

 

PROFICIENCY TESTING PARTICIPATION

Each year, IFTL participates in local and/or regional and international PT’s in addition to inter-laboratory testing schemes.

This practice strengthens confidence and accuracy of our test reports. In Kenya, the local PT’s is facilitated by the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS). Participation of PT’s assures consistency in quality testing of all products because it is a monitoring tool to quality service delivery.

 

RECOGNITION

IFTL has created local and regional presence through attendance and participation in various regional food and non-food related forums.

As a KENAS accredited laboratory, IFTL test reports are recognized and acceptable internationally.

Interfield Food Testing Laboratories (IFTL) is a specialised, independent & accredited quality testing and food safety laboratory based in Ruiru, Kiambu County - Kenya.
